Recently Miss California, Miss Carrie Prejean was ambushed and gang banged so to speak by a judge who had a political agenda. When he asked his question, he got the response he had hoped allowing him to rant for all the liberal press.
It is not my intention to rehash what has been said on this issue. While reading today I found a passage that I find interesting. "Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities." |

I like how the gays and gay sympathizers twist her words and attack her for having an opinion they disagree with. In other words, acting just the same as the stereotype they have of us. I've never understood why anyone gives Perez Hilton the time of day, anyway, but that's another subject. It illustrates something I've believed for a long time. What we are seeing is a shift in attitudes, morals, social mores, etc. but we as a nation are no more tolerant, kind, or enlightened than we have ever been. Ideologies may change, but man's basic nature remains the same.

Sorry to hear she was fired. Supposedly the reason was she was not showing up where she was scheduled. I also heard she had been scheduled to do a photo shoot for Playboy, but I find that very hard to believe.

What I was told is that she was only given offers likely to offend her morals and other, legitimate, offers weren't passed on to her. Personally, I don't think any beauty pageant contestant should be asked any question which can't be answered with "world peace".
