President Obama's has made his first nomination to the Supreme Court, Sonia Sotomayor. This judge is one of the most over-ruled judges in history. She believes that judges should not be restricted to interpreting the constitution but should make policy.

Let us watch the Republicans as they cave and rubber stamp her for fear of being called racist.

Or we could get involved and contact our representatives, letting them know their relection hangs on her defeat!

Here's kind of the point I was making in the thread about Sarah Palin. I hate the idea that Sotomayor gets extra points for being hispanic. Although I suspect that the Obama people are nominating her more out of a particular agenda and the minority status is just a bonus. Like you said, any criticism can be trumped by the race card.
